Day 1 - Trivandrum / Kovalam

On arrival at Trivandrum our tour co-ordinator will meet you and greet you at the airport. Transfer and check-in to a hotel at Kovalam .Enjoy the rest of the day own your own at the beach.

Day 2 - Kovalam

After breakfast, visit Trivandum city, and the magnificent Sri Padmanahaswamy temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu . Visit the Art museum and SriChitra art Gallery which has a large collection of Raja ravi varma paintings.

Day 3 - KOVALAM-ALLEPPEY-HOUSE BOAT

After breakfast depart to Alleppey and upon arrival board on house boat to Kumarakom, and cruise on the enchanting backwaters, engulfed by a lush-green landmass lying below sea level, known as Kuttanad. Kuttanad is known as the rice-bowl of Kerala for its paddy fields. Stay on house boat at night.

Day 4 - HOUSE BOAT-KUMARAKOM

After breakfast, disembark from the House Boat to a resort in Kumarakom, a peaceful floating Island situated on Vembanad Lake . The adjoining bird sanctuary is awith a spectacular view from here. Arrangements for leisure-fishing can also be made. Overnight in Kumarakom.

Day 5 - IN KUMARAKOM

As usual after breakfast ,optional visit to the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. After breakfast, visit the Churches and nearby village. Stay in Kumarakom at night.

Day 6 - KUMARAKOM-PERIYAR

After breakfast, drive to Periyar and on arrival check in at a jungle resort. Late afternoon boat ride in lake Periyar to watch the wild life. Evening visit to Kumily Spice Market to see and buy spices. Stay in Periyar at night.

Day 7- PERIYAR-COCHIN

After breakfast, depart to Cochin and upon arrival check-in to a hotel. Afternoon sight seing tour of Cochin city . The Portuguese, the Dutch, the English all had established themselves here at one time or the other. Prominent attractions are the Jewish synagogue, Santa cruz church( built in 16 th century by the Dutch ), cochin fort (built-1503 by the Dutch ), Bolgatty Palace built by Dutch in 1744 and the St. Francis church ( built-1510 AD by the Dutch ) where Vasco de Gamma was buried ( later his remains were taken to Portugal, but his tombstone is still there at the St. Francis church which is the oldest church in India built by Europeans ) Evening witness a Kathakali Dance Drama. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8 - COCHIN-TRISSUR

After breakfast, drive to Trissur .On the way pop into Mylattur where St. Thomas has a church on top of the hill is believed to be where St.Thomas meditated and has a rock with his footprints . Stay at night in Trissur.

Day 9 - IN TRISSUR

Full day free to witness the colourful and spectacular Trichur Pooram .Overnight in Trichur.

Day 10 - TRISSUR-COCHIN-DEPARTURE

Transfer to Cochin airport to leave for home
